5.7 miles 1,505 ft elevation gain Difficulty: Difficult Located in Jefferson National Forest. This rock formation juts out of Cove Mountain like a dragon's tooth as the name describes. There are short sections of rock scramble on the trail as well as several campsites.

About the event
We will meet in the Short Pump area around 8:30 am and head out to Roanoke. Hike to Dragon's Tooth, enjoy your packed lunch among the clouds and views then head back to the trailhead. Spend the evening in Roanoke or head back home.
